As always, the Grand Ole Opry is in town for the holidays. And, as always, it’s getting ready to host an amazing lineup of performances from some of the best country music stars in the world. This year’s lineup included Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Dolly Parton, but another big name is joining the list: Rhiannon Giddens.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most anticipated video games of 2018, and it will release this fall. It is set in the aftermath of the original Red Dead Redemption, and the story revolves around outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang, a group of outlaws who were forced to flee the law after stealing from a federal train shipment. The game will feature the original voice actors returning to reprise their roles, as well as a completely original cast.
Rock and roll legend D’Angelo will be joining Rhiannon Giddens on stage to perform the songs from the hit game Red Dead Redemption 2 at a special concert in Los Angeles County.
Tribeca special guests D’Angelo and Rhiannon Giddens will join composer Daniel Lanois at The Songs of Red Dead Redemption 2 concert tomorrow at The Battery in New York City.
This sunset concert will be the first live show in New York City featuring selected tracks from the Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack. Famed American soul icon D’Angelo will join Lanois and Giddens for a joint live performance. The concert is part of this year’s Tribeca Festival, which will feature an extended screening of the games. This comes 10 years after Rockstar Games launched this initiative with L.A. Black.
