The Flexispot Gaming Desk GD01 is targeted mainly towards people who like to play computer games. From the name of the product, you can tell that it is a gaming desk. A gaming desk is a table or desk that you use to play computer games. The product has a lot of different features that make it a good quality gaming desk.
If you’re serious about gaming and looking to take it to the next level, then the Flexispot Gaming Desk GD01 is a must-have accessory. The desktop is an essential part of any PC gaming setup. So it’s a good thing that companies have started producing desks specifically for gamers. Unpacking and assembling

The GD01 comes in a simple brown cardboard box, with all the parts neatly packed under a generous layer of polystyrene to protect everything. The table top itself is split in two, creating a seam in the middle (which is covered by the included full-size mouse pad). All small connection parts are individually packed and sorted. The assembly is a little difficult, but not very complicated. Instructions include easy-to-follow written and visual aids. Basically, you assemble the frame with the various hex screws and then attach it to the work table by hand by screwing in the thirty-four Phillips screws provided. Credit: Cody Campbell / HGG
It’s tedious, but you should be able to put it together in about 30-45 minutes. By attaching the legs, you can choose which of the three preset table heights you want to use. They are attached with four hexagonal bolts on each side. You can change the height later, but that will probably require you to remove everything from the table and turn it on its side. There are also holes on both sides for the cup holder and headphone hook, so you can choose which side you want to put them on.
Quality of construction
The Flexispot GD01 doesn’t excel in its build quality, but it’s a solid product that doesn’t offer a reason for dissatisfaction either. Credit: Cody Campbell / HGG
The surface is made of two chipboards with a carbon layer. On the back there are cutouts for the passage of cables. They are heavy, but the table doesn’t wobble much with normal use. The seam in the middle is obvious when the table is used without a mouse pad, but with a mouse pad it is almost unnoticeable. The mouse pad feels soft and has a nice red stitched lining. It also has a red cardiograph on it with Flexispot Gaming Station right in the middle. The cup holder and headphone hook are made of a cheap plastic that bends a lot. The cup holder seems to be particularly prone to breakage, as it protrudes from the corner of the table. During the two weeks I tested the product, I got stuck in it twice with my hip. It’s nice that you can choose which side to place them on, although I personally found that the pre-drilled holes were too close together for me to easily place them on one side. The cord storage system is a good idea to avoid cluttered outlets on the floor, although it’s not easy to add new outlets or change things when the cords are hidden in them.

Although the GD01 Gaming Desk is currently on sale for $229.99, that still seems expensive for this product. A quick search on Amazon for 63″ gaming desks shows several options priced under $200, including the Vanspace 63″ Ergonomic Gaming Desk, which also comes with a USB gaming pen holder, mouse pad, cup holder and headphone hook. The only real difference is the ability to choose one of three preset heights, a rare option for gaming tables of this size. This fact alone can make the Flexispot GD01 an attractive option, especially for low-end users who are struggling to find a large console they can comfortably use. Linked reading
