Monster Hunter Stories 2 is an iOS game by Marvelous Inc. that’s currently available for iOS and Android devices, and it’s quite popular among fans of the series.

Have you completed Monster Hunter Stories 2 yet? Are you having trouble with the Elder’s Lair? Wish the deviant versions of Monster Hunter Generations’ Fated Four could all be in-game? So, there’s excellent news! Capcom’s MHS2 update on September 2nd adds Soulseer Mizutsune, Elderfrost Gammoth, and Oroshi Kirin to multiplayer, as well as Ice and Water Egg hunts.

The new update should make water elemental fights simpler while offering ice battlers more choices, since the highest-rated monsties are presently just 5 out of 7 stars. Both are essential since the Elder’s Lair PvE section of the game includes a few novelty sections, and both aspects make some of the fights more easy. The “Fated Four” encounter will not be available until the September 16th update, which also includes Dreadking Rathalos, Molten Tigrex, and a “High Difficulty” version of Kulve Taroth.

Finally, those who were turned off by their Gammoth’s poor numbers should know that the monstie is a “slow grower” in terms of stats, so don’t worry about the Elderfrost version being weak. Just be ready to put in some work before getting any results.
